This wine is a truely precise expression of Sta Rita Hills Chardonnay. It speaks of cool sunshine and focused terroir. The tone of this wine is golden, bringing to mind macadamia brittle, poached pear, grilled peach and lemon curd. It is a wine of luxuriuos texture. Sweet stone fruits build the palate with white peach, apricot, and a touch of grilled plantain. It finishes clean and perfeclty pleasant with candied lemon peel, vanilla, crushed rock and a whisper of tobacco.

This wine was produce from grapes grown at La Rinconada vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills. It is blended for the lovely gold tone and texture. It was fermented in barrel, and aged for 9 months.
