We sourced this fruit form Donnachadgh Vineyard and La Rinconada Vineyard.
This wine was fermented in a combination of stainless steel tanks and Concrete. Aged 10 months in 25% new French oak, 75% neutral French oak barrels.
This wine is heady, intensely aromatic and expressive. The aromas jump from the glass showing off flashes of raspberry, pomegranate and black bramble fruits. The nose is spiced with hints of cedar and loam, touches of clove and white pepper. It floods the palate with sweet red and black berries, it is broad and focused and seamlessly transitions from fruit, to tension and darkness, with a firm and satisfying touch of tannin and structure to finish. Overall a really classy and intense pinot, possessing great fruit and wonderful balance.
